You are there to relax and enjoy becoming a Dad, whatever that looks like for you on the day – and you won’t know until you are there!
DOULA + DAD
If you want to take all the worry and concern out of the birth then employ a doula.
She is present, without being a presence.
Together you can share the support for your partner.
A doula knows the ‘system’ and will be your very important independent advocate, representing only the 3 of you.
She will make sure you are fed, watered, have plenty of sleep breaks and most importantly she will make sure you are well- informed and happy.
She is the key to labour and birthing being smooth, calm and uninterrupted, creating a safe space for Mum to relax and tune into her wise woman, so baby can emerge from inside to outside feeling welcomed, loved and safe.
